It’s been a while hasn’t it? I won’t go into all the reasons why (of which there are many), but I am trying to free up a little time to devote to the site. With that in mind I have a few changes to mention…
- Last week, I posted a small update the the App List and I am working on another update.
- Unfortunately, I found that I had some illegal characters in the database for a few apps and this was wreaking havoc with the sorting of the list when certain parameters were selected. The illegals characters have been removed and the sorting should now be functioning normally.
- I’ve also made some changes to the default sort directions when different ”Sort By” parameters are selected. Currently the list sorts descending by Date Added, which shows you the newest apps on top, but if you then selected to sort by Price the list would refresh but still be in descending order with the most expensive apps on top. Now when you select a either App Name, Price or Developer as the the Sort By parameter, the list will refresh but will also automatically change to ascending order, which I think makes a lot more sense. The default order for Date Listed remains unchanged, with the newest apps still listed on top. Of course any of these setting can be changed just by selecting the appropriate parameter or direction in the sort bar.
